New Spare Parts and Associated Services Arrangement - Delivering More for your Council

Local Buy has recently launched a register of pre-qualified supplier panel for Spare Parts and Associated Services BUS268.  This contract will provide Queensland, Tasmanian and Northern Territory local governments, State government entities and not-for-profit organisations with a comprehensive list of suppliers of spare parts and associated services.

The arrangement provides a choice of providers of OEM and Non-OEM Spare Parts, Workshop Tools and Associated Services who have a strong regional and local presence, thereby promoting the development of competitive local business and industry, whilst providing commercially robust rates and terms and conditions of contract.

Council and industry consultation and feedback has enabled Local Buy to understand the changing needs of local and State government purchasers and focus on your particular requirements

The contract commenced on 17th September 2019 for a term of three (3) years with two (2) 12 month optional extensions - refresh and extensions options will be at Local Buy’s sole discretion.

  • Vendor Managed Solutions
  • Filtration Parts
  • Electrical Parts
  • Hard Parts
  • Batteries
  • Consumables

Workshop Tools Solutions and Systems including:

  • Service Tools, Wheel Aligners, Vehicle Hoists, Diagnostic Equipment and Software,
  • Delivery, Installation and Training

Refurbishment and Recycling including:

  • Hard Parts, Filtration Parts
  • Battery recycling/disposal
  • Waste Oils recycling / disposal.
  • Tyres recycling / disposal.


Approved suppliers are being registered on VendorPanel as they confirm their appointment to the panel.
