Catherine Mahoney

Catherine Mahoney is responsible for establishing and growing relationships with State and Federal Government agencies, and not-for-profit organisations, that source goods and services via Local Buy contracts.  Catherine also manages Local Buy’s relationship with the Local Government Association of Tasmania, and Tasmanian councils.

A tertiary qualified procurement professional, Catherine has managerial and hands-on experience in end-to-end procurement including all parts of the strategic sourcing cycle.  This includes overarching considerations such as stakeholder identification and management, strategy, procurement capability, risk management, issues management, compliance and benefits realisation.

Catherine also delivers procurement training and other local government related training to Queensland councils and other Local Buy customers.

Catherine has an MBA, a Bachelor of Commerce (Professional Economics), a Diploma of Government (Procurement and Contracting) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
