The Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ) is the peak body for local government in Queensland. A not-for-profit association setup solely to serve the state's 77 councils and their individual needs.

Institute Public Works Engineering Association Queensland (IPWEAQ)

The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) is the professional organisation providing member services and advocacy for those involved in and delivering public works and engineering services to the community both in Australia and New Zealand

Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPSA)

CIPSA promotes and develops high standards of professional skill, ability and integrity among all those engaged in purchasing and supply chain management. CIPSA assists individuals, organisations and the profession as a whole

Western Australian Local Government Association

The WA Local Government Association (WALGA) is working for Local Government in Western Australia. As the peak industry body, WALGA advocates on behalf of 139 WA Local Governments and negotiates service agreements for the sector. WALGA is not a government department or agency.

Local Government Association of the Northern Territory

The Local Government Association of the Northern Territory (LGANT) was first incorporated in 1992 as the single peak body representing Local Government in the Northern Territory. LGANT is managed by an Executive Committee made up of four members from municipal councils and four from shire Councils.

Local Government Procurement (New South Wales)

LGP provides fully integrated procurement services. These services include establishing contract panels, consulting, professional development and contract management.  Our customers include NSW councils, not for profit organisations, universities, state government agencies and departments. LGP is a business arm of Local Government NSW (LGNSW), the membership association for all councils in NSW.

LGA Procurement (LGAP) (South Australia)

LGA Procurement (LGAP) is a commercial entity owned by the Local Government Association of South Australia (LGA of SA) and designed to support Councils to deliver best value for their communities. LGAP is committed to identifying, developing and delivering value-added products and generating economies of scale through bulk purchasing, contract administration and e-commerce.

Local Government Association of Tasmania

LGAT provides specialist services to its member councils including policy and strategic support, information and learning for Local Government elected members and officers and procurement of employee relations and insurance services.  LGAT also coordinates the Tasmanian Local Government Awards for Excellence, the annual Tasmanian Local Government conference and LGAT ASSIST.

Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) Procurement

MAV is the legislated peak body for local government in Victoria.  Formed in 1879, their role is to support councils and councillors through advocating local government interests, building the capacity of Victoria councils, facilitating effective networks and initiating policy development and advice.
