LGMA Annual Local Government Conference 2024
The 2024 Conference will explore the two approaches and consider what to use when and how to adapt local government leadership to meet both the immediate and long-term needs of your community.
Join colleagues from across Queensland as we explore what leadership in local government looks like, learning from experienced and new local government officers, academics and thought leaders.
The Local Government Conference will be hosted across a three-day period featuring business and social events:
Tuesday 27 August - From 3.30 pm for Registration followed by the President's Welcome Reception from 4.30pm-6.30pm; Evening at leisure.
Wednesday 28 August - From 08.45am - 3.30pm - Conference Sessions and AGM, Outdoor Challenge - Beach vs Bush from 4.00pm - 5.30pm; Evening at leisure.
Thursday 29 August - From 08.30am - 3.00pm for the Conference Sessions and the Conference Dinner will be from 6.30pm - 10.30pm.
