Councils looking to engage with local Indigenous businesses as part of their procurement strategy may be interested to know about the Black Business Finder (BBF).
The BBF is part of the Industry Capability Network Gateway database system and is Queensland’s online Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business directory connecting Indigenous businesses with work opportunities.
The BBF, which is searchable by Local Government Area, aims to better connect Indigenous businesses into Queensland’s mainstream supply chains.
