LB333 provides energy supply to a wide range of purchasers, including electricity and gas. This Arrangement also expands energy options available to include standard electricity, green energy, and Power Purchasing Agreements (PPAs). Eligible purchasers include but are not limited to, Queensland Councils, not-for-profits and member-based organisations.
Under LB333, Local Buy also manage, on behalf of participating organisations, aggregated energy contracts. These contracts are secured by Local Buy and ensure best value for money on maximum volumes. Local Buy’s Energy strategy also includes green and PPA options, where sought by purchasers.
