The 2026 Disaster Recovery Forum unites Queensland’s public works and engineering community under the theme "Prepare, Respond, and Rebuild Stronger”. Addressing the intensifying challenges of extreme weather, the program delivers actionable insights into climate adaptation engineering, pre-disaster preparedness, and the strategic management of DRFA funding.

Presented by the IPWEA-QNT SEQ Branch Committee, this forum equips councils and agencies with the innovative tools and knowledge necessary to build resilient infrastructure and accelerate community recovery.
