November recap
The latest procurement cycle saw a total of 288 submissions across our 14 tendered arrangements, reflecting the continued enthusiasm and strong participation from our supplier base. This level of engagement highlights the strength of our network and the value suppliers place in partnering with us. Once onboarded and live on VendorPanel, approved suppliers will be positioned to receive quote requests and begin delivering services to councils and government bodies across Queensland. This milestone marks the completion of a structured three-month journey — from submission to activation — and our last tendering round for the calendar year. We would like to extend our appreciation to all participants for their commitment and patience.
Throughout December, the Contracts Administration team will be immersed in a comprehensive evaluation of each proposal. Every submission is carefully reviewed to ensure it meets the criteria outlined in the Arrangement, and where clarification is needed, suppliers are contacted to ensure evaluations remain accurate and equitable. Responsibilities have been distributed across multiple teams, ensuring each component of the submissions receives the attention it deserves. This collaborative approach reflects the dedication and coordination of all involved, and we are pleased with the progress achieved.
As evaluations near completion, our focus shifts to the concluding phase of this cycle. In January, suppliers will begin receiving outcome notifications, and successful applicants will be issued Confirmations of Acceptance, marking the final step in this round.
Upcoming round
Looking ahead, planning is already underway for the next open tender release, scheduled for February 1st. This upcoming round is expected to attract significant interest, with new opportunities opening across a range of categories. Each submission represents an opportunity for suppliers to become pre-qualified for local and state government work across Queensland. We look forward to welcoming new suppliers, expanding our network of qualified partners, and continuing to deliver transparent, efficient, and impactful outcomes for all stakeholders.
Disaster Recovery Management LB505 is now complete and live on VendorPanel, marking a key milestone in our procurement cycle. Approved suppliers are activated and ready to receive quote requests, ensuring councils and government entities across Queensland can access trusted disaster recovery services. This achievement reflects the strength of our collaborative process and positions our network to deliver critical value where it matters most.
Waste Management & Resource Recovery - This Arrangement supports councils in delivering efficient and sustainable waste services. It includes kerbside collection, landfill operations, recycling, and organics processing, helping communities reduce environmental impact and improve resource recovery outcomes.
