This month the Local Buy team has been focused on evaluating submissions received during the May tender round.
Over the past month, the team assessed a total of 578 submissions across 42 Arrangements, representing a significant body of work and a strong level of market participation.
With the evaluation phase now complete, the team has progressed to preparing the formal Evaluation Reports, which document the outcomes of the assessment process and provide recommendations for each Arrangement.
These reports are reviewed by our Probity Advisors and this review process ensures that all procurement procedures have been followed appropriately and that submissions have been assessed consistently, objectively, and fairly.
Evaluation month is one of the most intensive stages of the tender process, and we extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved for their dedication and hard work including applicants for their prompt responses to clarification requests throughout the evaluation period. Your cooperation and engagement are greatly appreciated and play an important role in ensuring the process runs smoothly.
As we move through Month 3, our focus shifts to communicating the outcomes of submissions. Successful applicants will receive a Confirmation of Acceptance, along with information outlining the next steps in the appointment process.
Once you’ve been appointed to an Arrangements and your profile has been activated in Unimarket, you’ll be invited to attend a Supplier Induction Session either online or at our office at Local Government House in Newstead. Looking ahead
While the administration team works to finalise the May tender round and communicate outcomes to applicants, preparations are already underway for Arrangements opening in August.
Applications will open on August 1st and during this period, businesses will have the opportunity to apply for any open Arrangements through our website.
