Start the new year with a strong Local Buy profile

A new year is the perfect time to make sure your Local Buy profile is working hard for you. With councils across Queensland and the Northern Territory actively engaging suppliers through Unimarket (formerly VendorPanel), an accurate and complete profile helps ensure you never miss an opportunity.
A quick check now can make a big difference to your visibility and responsiveness throughout 2026.
Key actions to complete this month
1. Confirm your contact details
Make sure the right people are listed in your Unimarket profile — including your primary admin and any relevant colleagues. This is especially important if your organisation has multiple branches across Queensland or the Northern Territory, as councils often direct Requests for Quote (RFQs) to specific locations.
2. Review your logo
Your logo is often the first thing buyers see. Ensure the version displayed in Unimarket is current, clear, and correctly formatted so your brand is represented professionally.

3. Upload all compliance & insurance documents
Councils rely on up‑to‑date compliance information when engaging suppliers. Check that your profile includes:
- Current insurance certificates
- Any required compliance documentation
- Expiry dates that are still valid
- Your Rate Cards are current
Keeping these documents updated helps avoid delays and ensures you remain eligible for opportunities.
4. Respond to all outstanding RFQs
Take a moment to review any Requests for Quote issued to your organisation. Even if you’re not submitting a quote, responding with a “Decline to Respond” helps councils understand your capacity and keeps your engagement record strong.
