Arrangements Update - January 2024

On the 12th of February, we have a series of new Arrangements opening for tender.

These Arrangements were developed in response to council feedback and have been designed to separate civil construction services from water and sewerage, allowing a greater depth of categories and capturing a diverse range of suppliers to deliver these services. The existing BUS270 Road, Water, Sewerage & Civil Works Arrangement will expire in June 2024 and suppliers on this Arrangement will need to tender for one (or both) of the new Arrangements below.

The six new Arrangements include roads and general civil, water and sewerage, building construction (both commercial and residential) and temporary & labour hire recruitment (in addition to the new Managed Service Provider Arrangement).

LB313 Road and General Civil Construction

• Road Construction and Maintenance
• Road Resurfacing
• Unsealed Road Construction and Maintenance
• Guardrail and Road Safety Barriers
• Line marking
• Landfill Construction and Rehabilitation
• Marine and River Civil Works
• General Civil Construction.

LB314 Water, Sewerage & Stormwater Infrastructure

• Pipeline Installation and Upgrades
• Trenchless Pipeline Installation
• Pipeline Inspections
• Pipeline Relining and Rehabilitation
• Water and Sewerage Treatment and Pumping
• Bores.

LB316 Water, Sewerage & Stormwater Products

• Precast Concrete and Civil Products (Including concrete pipes)
• Pipes
• Pumps
• Valves
• Flow Meters. 

LB329 – Building & Construction – Commercial & Fit Out (including Demo and Asbestos)

• Commercial Construction & associated works
• Public Infrastructure – includes playgrounds, jettys, water parks.
• Office & Building Fit Out General
• Building Fit Out – Visual Interactive infographic platform
• Demolition Works
• Asbestos Removal & Associated Works Class A Licence
• Asbestos Removal & Associated Works Class B Licence
• Asbestos Assessors.

LB331 Building & Construction – Residential

• Modular, Transportable and Prefabricated dwellings
• Construction – New Residential Housings and Associated Services
• Apartment Buildings and Multi-use Accommodation
• Building Refurbishment and Remediation
• Non-Habitable Buildings, Structures, Private Bush Fire Shelters.

LB334 Recruitment - Temporary & Labour Hire Services

• This will be a Register of Prequalified Suppliers LGA Arrangement (RPQS) for the supply of both temporary and labour hire recruitment services to councils and other approved purchasers for Queensland, Northern Territory and Tasmania, and will form part of Local Buy’s Active Arrangements.
