It’s been a dynamic month for the Local Buy Engagement Team, with events and initiatives that continue to strengthen our connection with councils across Queensland.
Members of our Engagement Team travelled to St George to attend the WQAC Conference, where we connected with Elected Members and CEOs from across Western Queensland. These conversations are vital in shaping how we support regional councils and tailor our services to meet the unique challenges they face.
We genuinely love meeting our customers in person - it’s the best way to listen, learn, and collaborate on smarter procurement strategies.
Council delegates are invited to the Local Buy Central Queensland Procurement Summit in Yeppoon on 5th November 2025. This one-day event offers a valuable opportunity to learn about procurement trends, share insights, and network with peers and industry experts from across the region.
