Glen is the General Manager of Local Buy, bringing more than 20 years of corporate experience and over a decade in local government procurement, procurement technology, and strategic partnerships. Recognised as a pragmatic and outcomes‑focused leader, he combines deep procurement expertise with industry‑leading technology knowledge to support government clients and partnerships.

From 2020 to 2023, Glen led the rollout of Local Buy’s Next Gen Procurement Technology and Data Program. Now fully operational, this program received three 2023 CIPS Awards for Best Public Project of the Year, Best Public Procurement Transformation Programme, and Overall Winner 2023.

Glen also led Local Buy’s Procurement Team, overseeing the category management and delivery of Local Buy’s Arrangements, which were awarded the 2024 CIPS Award for Best Procurement Transformation & Change Program.

He has been instrumental in managing key strategic partnerships, including the Queensland Government and Local Buy Strategic Partnership, to deliver the Queensland Procurement Solution. Delivered under a Local Buy Managed Service, this initiative provides a unified procurement technology platform across both state and local government – an Australian first in intergovernmental procurement collaboration.
