Based on feedback from Councils, Local Buy will be going to market to form two new pre-qualified supplier arrangements for the Construction of both Commercial and Residential Projects.
Whilst Local Buy has had a highly successful Civil Construction Arrangement for many years, we have never been able to offer councils a panel of pre-qualified suppliers for buildings. The formation of these arrangements will enable councils to engage with qualified, licensed and insured builders covering Commercial and Residential Construction, Fit-Out, Asbestos Removal and Assessment and Demolition.
With a post-COVID housing crisis still in full swing, the pressure on Council to provide staff housing has never been greater, especially in the rural and remote regions of Queensland.
Becoming a Local Buy Pre-Qualified Supplier means you can engage with councils in a more streamlined manner through Requests for Quote rather than having to respond to Full and Open Tenders.
