The Queensland councils we service have given feedback that they would like Local Buy to formulate panels specific to regions across Queensland which are focused on you their local suppliers. Local government wants to Buy Local with Local Suppliers, and we have heard that request loud and clear.
Local Buy currently has an open tender for the Supply & Delivery of Quarry Products, Geosynthetics, Landscaping and Associated Materials LBR287, which includes:

The tender response date has been extended until 22 April, to allow for additional time to respond in the current environment, where we are all focused on finding new ways to get back to our usual business.
This panel will create the opportunity for you to work with local government bodies across South-East and Far-North Queensland.
Should you respond to the tender and be successfully appointed, you will be:

Part of a dedicated panel with only local suppliers with dedicated access to local government bodies; which also satisfies all legislative requirements (Local Government Regulations 2012 and Local Government Act 2009).

Eligible for local government request for quote process. Which means not always having to respond to a full open tender process, which is costly, time-consuming and resource-intensive.

Supported by our dedicated Customer Relationship Managers are focused on connecting local suppliers with local government bodies in your region.
